COEUR d'ALENE — The first community Hanukkah Celebration will be held in Coeur d'Alene on Dec. 25. It comes on the heels of increasing interest in Jewish activities, according to a press release. The celebration will feature a menorah lighting ceremony, Hanukkah songs and music, Hanukkah foods and treats. Rabbi Mendel and Esther Lifshitz of Boise will lead the ceremony and program sponsored by Chabad Lubavitch of Idaho.
